It is with great pride that I announce that this is The Power Play's 1,000th post!It's hard to believe that I thought of enough things to write about 999 times to get to this point. Some of them probably could've gone without a write up, but it's the thought that counts.
After crunching the numbers, I figured out that I was able to reach 1,000 posts in 408 days. By comparison, it took Wayne Gretzky 424 games to score his first 1,000 points. Which really isn't a good comparison at all. They're two completely different things. I just wanted to figure out a way to say that I was better than Wayne Gretzky.
Thanks to each and every one of you Power Players who read this blog every single day! And even those of you who just randomly check in or happen to find this little gem through a google search while looking into other questionable subjects.
To celebrate the 1,000 mark, here's some linkage to a photo gallery of the stunning Carrie Underwood. Now they're even hockey related as she has recently been linked to Ottawa Senators forward Mike Fischer. Lucky bastard.
