That's Embarassing

NHL.com has put together a fun little video of some of the Calgary Flames players most embarasssing moments. It's actually not too bad because you get to see the players talk honestly and show actual enthusiasm instead of their usual deadpan brain injured generalized statements where every other word is "uhhhhh".

After watching the video it got me to thinking what my most embarassing moment was. I would have to go with the time I attended the Victoria's Secret fashion show and the models realized that they all wanted me but they all couldn't have me. So there was a big fight with lots of hair pulling and pillow fighting which resulted in some injuries and the show ultimately had to be cancelled. Boy was my face red.

Morning After Meltdown: Calgary Flames

It hasn't been easy to be the Calgary Flames as of late. They've dropped four out of their last five games, and the one game that they did win was a very close 7-6 victory over Nashville. What was once one of the most promising looking teams in the West, is now a team mired in an early season slump.

Perhaps that is what Flames fans (Flamers?) can take solace in. That it is still early, and that we are still only in November.

Calgary has slid all the way down to 7th in the West, and have seven teams within five points behind them. Having lost both games this weekend against bitter Western Conference rivals Columbus (3-1) and Chicago (6-1) doesn't make it any easier in a very competitive West.

So the Morning After Meltdown is awarded to the Calgary Flames who have looked anything but on fire over the past week, and who need to turn things around before it's too late and any possible playoff hopes become extinguished.
